A strong sense of solidarity and shared purpose marked the successful conduct of the NSCC Multi-Purpose Cooperative’s 17th Annual General Assembly for the Ilocos Sur Chapter, held on March 20, 2026, at the Vigan Convention Center in Vigan City.
The day began with a solemn Eucharistic Celebration led by Most Rev. David William Valencia Antonio, D.D., Archbishop of Nueva Segovia, together with Rev. Fr. Ian Paul Filart. The celebration offered a moment of reflection for all members, grounding the assembly in faith and reminding everyone of the cooperative’s deeper mission of service and unity.
Adding significance to the occasion was the presence of key representatives from the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur. Hon. SPM Francisco Arturo Ranches III attended on behalf of Governor Jeremias “Jerry” Singson, alongside Vice Governor Ryan Luis Singson and Provincial Cooperative Development Specialist Mr. Florentino Lorenzana. Their support reaffirmed the vital partnership between the cooperative sector and local government in promoting inclusive and sustainable development.
